NMSP Investigate Fatal Crash In Santa Fe County

NMSP News:

SANTA FE – New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal crash at about 5:30 p.m., Monday on N.M. 14 at mile marker 36 near Santa Fe.

The driver of the vehicle traveling northbound, Raymond P. Moya, 36, of Santa Fe, was not wearing a seatbelt and sustained fatal injuries in the crash. The driver in the parked vehicle was uninjured. 

The initial investigation indicated Moya’s vehicle was traveling northbound on N.M. 14 at what appeared to be a high rate of speed when the vehicle veered into the southbound lane and struck a parked vehicle on the shoulder of the southbound side.

This crash remains under investigation.
