SANTA FE  Commercial Center at 599 (CC@599) continues roadway and bridge work as part of the New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) access permit granted to CC@599 for a new access to NM 599 at Jaguar Drive in southern Santa Fe.

A diamond interchange is being constructed by CC@599 as part of the requirements of an access permit issued by the NMDOT for access to NM 599 for new development located along NM 599.

Starting Tuesday, June 16, the NM 599 northbound lanes will be CLOSED 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.

Traffic will be diverted to the newly built on and off ramps. The NM 599 northbound and southbound lanes will be RE-OPENED June 17.

On Wednesday, June 17, southbound lanes will be CLOSED 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.

Traffic will be diverted to the newly built on and off ramps. The northbound and southbound lanes will be RE-OPENED June 18. The closures are necessary for the placement of bridge girders.

The new interchange will result in an efficient connection for multi modal facilities in the southern part of Santa Fe that include a multi-use trail, the Rail Runner Station at NM 599 and the Santa Fe Airport.

Drivers are urged to proceed with caution through the work zone, observe traffic control signs and reduce speed to the posted limit. Updates on this project will be posted on the New Mexico Department of Transportation’s road advisory website.
