NWS News:

NOW … THROUGH MID MORNING … LOCALES MOST IMPACTED INCLUDE LOS ALAMOS…CHAMA…EDGEWOOD…JEMEZ SPRINGS… SANTA FE…MADRID…CUBA AND RIO RANCHO.

PATCHES OF LIGHT TO BRIEFLY MODERATE SNOW WILL CONTINUE … MAINLY NEAR AND NORTH OF INTERSTATE 40.

ADDITIONAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS DURING THIS PERIOD WILL GENERALLY BE LESS THAN AN INCH OR TWO IN THE LOWLANDS … BUT STILL COULD BE AS MUCH AS 3 INCHES AT A FEW SPOTS ACROSS THE NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS.

IN ADDITION … VISIBILITIES WILL OCCASIONALLY BE REDUCED TO LESS THAN ONE MILE IN SNOW.

THE STRETCH OF INTERSTATE 40 FROM GRANTS TO THE ARIZONA BORDER WILL STILL BE SNOW AND ICE COVERED AND VERY SLICK.
