New Mexico Leadership Institute Recruits High School Juniors

New Mexico Leadership Institute (NMLI) is recruiting high school juniors for its leadership program.

The New Mexico Leadership Institute, in collaboration with the University of New Mexico (UNM) and New Mexico State University (NMSU), is selecting exceptional high school students for enrollment in its flagship scholarship program. NMLI invites applications from high school students who plan to attend UNM or NMSU, are passionate about building their leadership skills, addressing national/global issues, and becoming agents of change.

With the goal of improving high school graduation rates, college enrollment, and improving the well-being of the State’s economy, Dan and Katherine Burrell launched the New Mexico Leadership Institute (NMLI), an innovative scholarship that will award 30 high school juniors $15,000 to attend New Mexico State University, Las Cruces or the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. This scholarship will provide exceptional high school juniors from across New Mexico with the financial resources, global awareness, and professional networks required to succeed in a competitive and knowledge-based economy.
