As pickleball continues to grow in popularity, Los Alamos County “kindly asks all players to be mindful of noise levels on and around the courts”.
To ensure a fun and organized playing experience for everyone, please note that the official hours of operation for the Myrtle Street Pickleball Court start on Monday, July 7.
Myrtle Street Pickleball Court New Hours of Operation:
- Monday – Sunday: 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Courts are available on a first-come, first-served basis unless reserved.
- Courts will be closed and locked at 6 p.m. daily.
Other Locations with Permanent Pickleball Courts:
- Canyon Tennis Courts – 4 pickleball courts (nets on site).
- Pinon Tennis Courts – 6 pickleball courts (nets on site).
- Barranca Tennis Courts – 6 pickleball courts (bring your net).
- North Mesa – 4 dedicated pickleball courts – opening Fall 2025.
Game Reminders:
- Be courteous: Limit play if others are waiting.
- Clean up after games. Please pack out any trash.
- Please keep noise levels down.
Working Together:
- Keep shouting, loud cheering, and music to a minimum.
- Avoid excessive paddle banging or yelling across multiple courts.
- Respect nearby residents, park users, and other players.
- Use soft voices during early morning or evening games.
- Encourage sportsmanship and positivity—without the volume.
- Use respectful language and tone on and off the court.
- If you’re playing near homes or shared spaces, keep play calm and courteous.
The County encourages the community to play safely, have fun, and keep the courts safe and respectful for everyone to enjoy.
