Watch “Mars Attacks!” at 7 p.m., Thursday in the Los Alamos Nature Center Planetarium at 2600 Canyon Road.
This event is the first in the nature center’s summer movie and beer night series Suds & Shows. Doors will open at 6 p.m. and beer and wine will be available from the Pajarito Brewpub at a cash bar.
The community is invited to bring a picnic dinner, buy drinks and enjoy spending time at the nature center before the movie. Movie tickets are $5 and drinks will be available for purchase.
Tim Burton’s “Mars Attacks!” is a comic sci-fi film featuring an ensemble cast including Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close, Annette Benning, Pierce Brosnan, Danny DeVito and many other Hollywood stars. The film was released in 1996 and is rated PG-13.
PEEC will host two Thursday movie and beer nights per month in June, July and August, with Pajarito Brewpub. The next Suds & Shows event is Thursday, June 21 with the film, “Jurassic Park.”
