NWS News:

The National Weather Service reports the following update:

Type – Upper level disturbance to bring additional snow, strong winds, and a reinforcement of colder air.

Timing – Tonight / Sunday / Monday.

Location – Snow concentrated over northern and northwestern New Mexico. Cold air will impact all of New Mexico, especially northern parts of the state.

An upper level disturbance will move over northern New Mexico, allowing snow to spread over the northern mountains and northwest to west central portions of the state tonight through Sunday. Periods of heavy snow and blowing snow will be possible with dangerously low wind chill readings, namely over the northern mountains. After the initial round of snow departs, a reinforcement of colder air will arrive Sunday night, with even colder temperatures expected Monday night.

Confidence remains moderate to high for additional accumulations in the northern mountains and moderate for the west central areas.
