National Forensic League Recognizes Hilltalkers

LAHS News:

Los Alamos High School Principal Sandy Warnock congratulates Margo Batha, Janet Newton and the LAHS Hilltalkers for earning significant recognition by the National Forensic League. Students earn points and degrees in the NFL honor society based on competitive and service related activities – ranging from the Degree of Merit with 25 or more points to the Degree of Premier Distinction with 1,500 or more points.

LAHS achieved more than 100 degrees last year, and is ranked among the top 10 percent of schools nationwide and earned membership in the League’s prestigious 100 Club. This milestone is remarkable because it demonstrates outstanding commitment to teaching students essential life skills-including communication, research, listening, writing and organization.

The National Forensic League and Los Alamos High School commends the leadership of an active speech and debate program.
