NEA-NM News:

The National Education Association of New Mexico (NEM-NM) endorses Christine Chandler of Los Alamos for House District 46 and to assume Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard’s position representing Los Alamos and portions of Santa Fe, Sandoval and Rio Arriba.

NEA-New Mexico announced Tuesday that they recommend Chandler as the candidate who will make the best legislative decisions for New Mexico students.

NEA-New Mexico endorses candidates who put students and education first and believe Chandler’s commitment to New Mexico students and the public school employees who educate them, will make her an excellent legislator in the next session.

Upon receiving the NEW-NM endorsement, Chandler released the following statement:

“We have been fortunate to have an educator and educational champion like Rep. Garcia Richard and I look forward to continuing her work for education and guaranteeing we increase funding for our schools, teachers and early childhood education for all.”
