Morning Power Outage Affects Meadow Lane/Todd Loop Area

COUNTY News:

An underground line failure caused a power outage at 2:14 a.m., today in the Meadow Lane/Todd Loop area in White Rock, affecting approximately 75 Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities customers.

Power was restored by 5 a.m. to the majority of those customers and by 6:40 a.m. to all affected customers.

“The line serving this neighborhood has already been prioritized for replacement during this coming fiscal year due to its age and historical performance,” said DPU’s Project Engineer for Electric Distribution Steve Marez.
