TRAIL WORK News:
IMBA’s local chapter, the Los Alamos Singletrack Association (L.A.S.A) is holding a trail work session from 5:30-7:30 p.m., Monday May 7 at the Mitchell Trailhead.
Volunteers will work on some maintainanece items on the Perimeter Trail toward the cemetary, and are asked to wear long pants and sturdy shoes.
It will be a relatively short and easy trail work session and it will be led by Craig Martin, local trail guru and trailmaster.
L.A.S.A’s goal is to help promote the Los Alamos trail community and welcome all types of trail enthusiasts.
Volunteers don’t have to be a current IMBA member or associated with any club or group to join in Monday’s trail work event.
Informational materials about L.A.S.A., its current projects and its goals will be available Monday as will the opportunity to meet L.A.S.A. board members.
