Michael Leslie of Los Alamos Graduates NMSU With Highest Honors

Michael Leslie, a 2009 graduate of Los Alamos High School, graduated Dec. 14 with Highest Honors from the College of Education at New Mexico State University.

Leslie received his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Exercise Science. He has completed all requirements for medical school where he hopes to pursue a career in emergency medicine. 

He graduated a Crimson Scholar with a perfect 4.0 GPA and worked as a scribe at Mountain View Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces. He also received the NMSU Alumni Association Outstanding Graduate award for the College of Education as well as the Denise Briggs Outstanding Senior Award. 

As a freshman, Leslie was awarded the Medical Auxiliary Scholarship provided by the Los Alamos Medical Center Hospital Auxiliary.

He is the son of Paul and Carolyn Leslie of White Rock.
