Metzger’s Celebrates 70th Anniversary

Employees of the Metzger’s Do It Best Hardware celebrate the store’s 70th anniversary Saturday at the Los Alamos store. From left, Sue Smith, Noah and Marc Barbeau and Clayton Purvis serve up hotdogs to hungry patrons. Besides lunch, the event featured a number of vendor booths, drawings, cake and a performance by the Los Alamos High School marching band. The store also kicked off its rewards program, Best Rewards, which provides a number of benefits. For instance, for every $300 spent, customers will receive a gift card.
