Los Alamos Public Library announces a special guest for Storytime at 10:15 a.m. Saturday, May 18 in Mesa Public Library. Local Author Nikoli Carr will join library staff to read his recently published storybook “Wally the Wake-up Pup.”

Carr is a southern New Mexico native who has been writing stories since he was in second grade. A former employee of Los Alamos Public Library, he now lives in northern New Mexico with his wife and son, and their two dogs—one of whom is named Wally. “Wally the Wake-up Pup” is his first publication.

After Storytime, Nikoli Carr will answer any questions about Wally and his adventures. Copies of his book will be available for sale and the author will be available to sign them.
