Meet Rainforest Creatures At Nature Center Wednesday

The community is invited to stop by the Los Alamos Nature Center Wednesday, July 24 for Summer Family Evening and meet 25 different rainforest species.

Albuquerque’s Exotics of the Rainforest will be bringing free-flight Macaws and other rainforest creatures for participants to see up-close at this event.

The fun starts at 6:30 p.m. and will be held in the nature center’s planetarium. Del Norte Credit Union is sponsoring PEEC’s Summer Family Evenings in 2019.

Seating is limited in the planetarium, so attendees should arrive early to get seats. Summer Family Evenings are 6:30 p.m. at the Los Alamos Nature Center every Wednesday evening throughout June and July. The events are free for PEEC family members and $5 per family for non-members.

  • July 24: Exotics of the Rainforest; and
  • July 31: New Mexico Wildlife Center
