McClellan Top Predictor in Ruth Demuth Memorial Pace Race

Laura McClellan was 1 second off her predicted time in the weekly pace race held on North Mesa, which honored longtime Atomic City Roadrunner (ACR) member, the late Ruth Demuth. 
 
Other top predictors were Ted Williams at 3 seconds off, Nikol Strother recording a 5 second differential as well as the top finisher on the three mile course at 20:40, Ted Romero at 6 seconds off and the first male in the three mile distance with a time of 21:38, and Linda Vance recording 8 seconds off.
 
On the one mile course, Morela Vargas had the best time of 12:33. Bob Weeks was the first male finisher at 12:53.
 
Next week’s race will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, May 6 on American Springs Road, which is 1.3 miles off N.M. 4 west up in the Jemez from the junction of state routes 4 and 501 (Back Gate). One and three mile courses will be available.
