Laura McClellan was the best predictor in the weekly pace race held on the west end of the Canyon Rim Trail with a 30 second differential from her predicted time.
McClellan also was the top female finisher on the 3-mile course with a time of 25:30.
Other accurate predictors:
- William Strother, 13, at 33 seconds off;
- Cliff Stanley recording a 36 second difference;
- Priscila Rosa at 47 seconds off; and
- Mark Bjorklund with a 48 second differential.
In the 1-mile distance Adrian Medin, 11, was the best finisher at 8:46 and Morgan Treat, 11, was the first female with a time of 10:37.
Paul Geimer was the top finisher in the 3-mile race recording a time of 17:33.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, starting at the Golf Course service road just after taking a right from the traffic circle at the end of Diamond Drive on to San Ildefonso Road on North Mesa.
1-mile trail and 5K hybrid courses will be available.
