A Los Alamos favorite and Taos native Max Gomez returns Saturday, April 8 to play Fuller Lodge.

Gomez is fresh off a European tour and comes ready to share tunes of his forthcoming album, due out this spring. The album is his second and has been long anticipated by his fans. Gomez’s debut album, Rule the World, was released in 2013.

An artist in the tradition of Jackson Browne and Kris Kristofferson, Gomez has a sweet smoky vocal style and his heart-felt lyrics have brought him acclaim around the country as well as here in the Land of Enchantment.

Gomez sold out two shows in Los Alamos last spring and ticket sales have been brisk thus far for his return. This time, Gomez will be joined by Ollie O’Shay, a legendary New Mexico fiddle player, Michael Martin Murphy and Susan Hyde Holmes, an amazing bass player with Boris McCutcheon and the Salt Licks as well as the jazz/funk Alpha Cats.

Tickets for the show are available at, or at the Los Alamos Schools Credit Union for those hoping to avoid the $2.50 service fee online. There are only 20 tickets remaining, so don’t delay! Doors to Fuller Lodge will open at 6:30 p.m. with the artist taking the stage at 7:30 p.m. Bathtub Row will be pouring beer and wine at the event and there will be snacks, but not whole meals available for purchase.
