Masonic Breakfast Benefits McCurdy Charter School

Students and family members came from McCurdy to cook and serve waffle breakfasts for their fundraiser this morning as Pajarito Masonic Lodge No. 66 (Los Alamos) and Valley Masonic Lodge No. 69 (Espanola) joined forces to host a charity breakfast in Los Alamos. This month’s breakfast benefits the McCurdy Charter School in Espanola, which is sending 19 mid-school students to Washington, D.C. to participate in the Close Up Program. Close Up is a civic organization that informs, inspires, and empowers young people to exercise the rights and accept the responsibilities of citizens in a democracy. For information on Pajarito Lodge or Freemasonry, contact Jake Turin at wm@pajarito66.org.
