ACRR News:
Duane Marr was the top predictor in the Atomic City Road Runners weekly pace race Tuesday on the trails behind the Aquatic Center and on Canyon Road with a 6 second differential from his predicted time.
Other accurate predictors were Zach Medin at 8 seconds off, Aurea Rojas with a 17 second difference as well as the first finisher in the 3 mile road run at 25:43, Lindsay Gibson recorded 24 seconds off, and Mark Bjorklund at 29 seconds.
Levi Gibson, 7, was the best finisher in the 1 mile distance at 8:02 and Roxana Candia was the top female with a time of 8:15.
In the 3 mile road race, Jeremy Bremjer was the first male recording a 36:21.
On the 3.1 (5K) mile trail run, Travis Gibson was the top finisher at 23:49 and Sanna Sevanto was the first female with a 29:21.
Next week’s race is 6 p.m. Tuesday, July 17, across from Los Alamos National Laboratory’s “S” Site on West Jemez Road (N.M. 501). 1 and 3 mile paved and trail routes will be available.
