Marie Todd, 88, center, celebrates an exercise milestone as 2017 came to an end. Todd, who turns 89 in February, is a true role model attending more than 100 exercise classes in 2017. Todd joined Jazzercise in 1979 and still attends classes with some people younger than a quarter of her age. The local Jazzercise program is offering free classes in 2018 for young women ages 16-21. The opportunity will give youth a chance to see how making exercise a lifestyle keeps them going strong. Today’s Jazzercise mixes modern dance, kickboxing and pilates with modern music a sense of community. Todd’s exercise buddies are proud of her accomplishments and inspired by her life-long dedication to health. Young women interested in attending free classes can contact Tana at 505.927.8516 or www.jazzercise.com/girlforce for more infrmation.
