Ricky Martinez, 21, of Truchas and Angelica Pacheco, 28, of Espanola are slated for pre-trial hearings April 11 in Los Alamos Magistrate Court on charges of concealing their identities and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The two were arrested Feb. 12 after Los Alamos Police Cpl. Sheldon Simpson and Cpl. Leandro Gallegos responded to the report of a suspicious vehicle at the car wash on Knecht Street. Court documents indicate the officers found Martinez and Pacheco asleep with food on their laps in a vehicle with an expired registration plate.
When the officers awoke them, both Martinez and Pacheco initially gave false information on their identities. Court documents indicate that the officers noted several syringes scattered in the vehicle and that Pacheco told them she and Martinez had used them for heroin.
