Main Hill Road Lane Closure Planned For Saturday

COUNTY News:

To enable the safe de‐electrification and demolition of a water booster station along the Main Hill Road (N.M. 502), a lane of traffic will be closed 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 8.

Los Alamos Department of Public Utilities officials announce that, weather permitting, electric crews will bring down power poles and power lines, which traverse the Main Hill Road just west of the White Rock Y. Crews will need to close a lane to do this. The electric linemen will arrange for advance signage to warn motorists of the lane closure and maintain two‐way traffic with a flagging operation, while closing N.M. 502’s eastbound lane.
