NAMBÉ – Democratic Senate candidate Ben Ray Luján today helped launch the 2020 “New Mexico for All” Democratic Coordinated Campaign, which will work to elect Democrats up-and-down the ballot in November.

“We’re asking you to find every source of energy, every phone call you can make, and sign up for these phone banks. This is going to be an election like we’ve never seen: it’s the most important election in our lifetimes…” said Luján during today’s rally. “We can send an all women of color delegation to the House of Representatives, and I’m excited to see that happening in our state. And, it’s because of you.”

Democrats across the state are uniting under “New Mexico for All” to elect Joe Biden, Ben Ray Luján, Deb Haaland, Xochitl Torres Small and Teresa Leger Fernandez, and Democrats running in important races further down the ballot.

These Democratic champions will help deliver on the issues New Mexicans care about — including recovery during and after COVID-19, expanding economic opportunities, and increasing access to affordable health care.

Viewers at today’s launch heard from other New Mexico’s leading Democrats, including DPNM Chair Marg Elliston, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, Sen. Tom Udall, Rep. Deb Haaland, Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, Teresa Leger Fernandez, New Mexico Speaker of the House Brian Egolf, Sen. Daniel Ivey-Soto, Justice Shannon Bacon, Justice David Thomson, Judge Zach Ives, Judge Shammara Henderson, Judge Jane Yohalem and Co-Liaison for Black Women For Biden NM Sonya Morring Smith. Chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Rep. Joaquin Castro also joined as a spokesperson for Biden 2020.
