Luján Campaign Launches Voter Turnout Challenge

U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján

STATE News:

NAMBE — U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján, the Democratic candidate for the U.S. Senate in New Mexico has launched a July 4th Voter Turnout Challenge to recruit New Mexicans to encourage their friends to vote in November’s election.

“From expanding access to affordable health care and growing economic opportunities for New Mexicans, to rebuilding our state from the COVID-19 crisis, the stakes are higher than ever this November – and so is our will for action,” Luján said. “This year, as we celebrate Independence Day, I’m calling on New Mexicans to channel this energy into outreach, encouraging their friends, families, and neighbors to vote this election. By working together, we can exercise the freedoms that make America strong, see change at the ballot box, and create a brighter tomorrow for New Mexico.”

Over the holiday weekend, the Luján campaign will be reaching out to voters and encouraging them to commit to mobilizing at least three friends to vote this November.
