Spirits were high as the final paper was signed Tuesday morning on a $1.2 million contract that is giving the Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service a new home and the community a new Hospice Center. The former Boy Scout Cabin off Canyon Road is the new headquarters of the Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service. A Hospice Center will be built on the property. Los Alamos Visiting Nurse Service will begin the move from 116 Central Park Square to its new home and host a FAN Club at 5:30 p.m. Aug. 29 to welcome the community to the new facility.
