Thanks to everyone who raced, volunteered or both at last Sunday’s Atomic Man Duathlon. Here is a schedule for upcoming activities.

1.) Tuesday Night Time Trials-Next Tuesday there will not be a time trial on the July 4th holiday. The next time trial will be Tuesday July 11 on the White Rock to top of Ancho Canyon course at 6 p.m.

Meet at 5:50 p.m., on the bike path at the intersection of Monte Rey Drive North and State Road 4 to get your name on the list. Following the time trial, there will be a pizza social at 7:30 p.m., at the White Rock Time Out Pizza at 118 State Road 4. All are welcome to come for pizza whether your ride the TT or not.

Remember that if 6 p.m. on Tuesdaydoes not fit your schedule, you can ride the TT on any day & time that suits your schedule. All riding abilities on any kind of bike are welcome. Wear a helmet and follow the rules of the road. Prize money & entry fee are the same for all riders= $0.00. Thirteen riders came out this past Tuesday despite hot & windy conditions. Lets try to beat that number on July 11.

2.) Splash N Dash No. 3 is next Wednesday July 5. Many thanks to those that have volunteered at SnD No. 1 & No. 2. We need 6 volunteers to run the event.  SnD No. 4 is Wednesday July 19. Same prize money & entry fee as the time trial. Registration is from 6:15-6:50 p.m. at the back side of the aquatic center.

4.) July 12 & 26 -Wednesday night trail runs. We meet at a different trailhead each week for a 4-6 mile run on easy to moderate terrain. All paces welcome.
Look for an e-mail from me or one of the other regular runners 2 or 3 days beforehand with a route announcement + strava trace.

5.) Got an idea for an activity in addition to the ones mentioned above. Feel free to use the clubs e-mail list and facebook page to spread word. Anyone can lead an activity at any time.
