Los Alamos Traffic Division Paints The Town

At 6 a.m. Tuesday, a crew from the Los Alamos County Traffic Division will paint the parking space lines in the Municipal Building lot. A worker told the Los Alamos Daily Post that the project involves sectioning off half the lot at a time and painting it. He estimated that it takes about an hour or so for each side to dry. He added that the County Traffic Division paints the stripes on all County parking lots every two years, painting half the lots one year and the remaining half the following year. Photo by Carol A.
