Lott’s time of 59.27 seconds beat the previous record of 59.96 seconds held by Amy Henninger since 1986. Lott hopes to continue her streak next month by capturing both the 100 and 200 freestyle records at the New Mexico High School State meet.

The LAHS team did very well at the Academy Invitational – placing 2nd to Academy for both the men and women’s teams. There were 15 schools from around the state in attendance at this meet.
