CORVALLIS, Ore. ― Oregon State University will hold its 146th commencement Saturday, June 13, in Reser Stadium.
Los Alamos students graduating from OSU include:
- Julia A. Kautz, Master of Science, Civil Engineering; and
- Ashley D. Reid, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, Veterinary Medicine – DVM.
OSU is one of the few large universities in the nation to hand out students’ actual diplomas during the commencement ceremony.
The commencement speaker is Howard K. Koh, director of the Leading Change Studio at Harvard University’s T.H. Chan School of Public Health. Koh, who served as the nation’s 14 Assistant Secretary for Health for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, will receive an honorary doctorate.
Commencement is free and open to the public; no tickets are necessary.
