LAPD News:
The Los Alamos Police Department (LAPD) and the local FBI office will host a community presentation on common fraud and scams, with a special focus on elder fraud.
The presentation will be held 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Fuller Lodge. The event will be held in a town hall format, giving community members an opportunity to ask questions and discuss concerns about fraud and scams.
A PowerPoint presentation will be used to help guide the discussion.
While elder fraud will be a primary focus, everyone is welcome to attend. Community members are encouraged to bring questions about fraud, scams, and ways to protect themselves and their families.
