Los Alamos Police Blotter: Sept. 28 to Oct. 16, 2013

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Sept. 28 at 2:23 p.m. / A Santa Fe woman reported that she was battered on Trinity Drive.

Oct. 6 at 11:34 a.m. / A 56-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone stole his credits card. The estimated loss is unknown.

Oct. 10 at 12:45 p.m. / Police arrested Aaron Gonzales, 42, of Santa Fe at 2500 Trinity Dr., and charged him with battery. Police are issuing him a summons to appear in court.

Oct. 11 at 6:45 a.m. / A 14-year-old Los Alamos girl reported that she is the victim of criminal sexual penetration. The matter is under investigation.

 

PETER WHISLER

Oct. 11 at 8:05 a.m. / Police arrested Peter Whisler, 63, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

Oct. 11 at 8:35 a.m. / A 17-year-old Los Alamos girl reported that she is the victim of aggravated indecent exposure. The matter is under investigation.

 

 

JEFFREY ASLIN

Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. / Police arrested Jeffrey Aslin, 45, of Los Alamos at 3491 Trinity Dr., and charged him with trafficking a controlled substance.

 

 

KRYSTI HERNANDEZ

Oct. 11 at 10 a.m. / Police arrested Krysti Hernandez, 42 of Los Alamos at 3491 Trinity Dr., and charged her with trafficking a controlled substance.

Oct. 11 at 11:06 a.m. / A 48-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she is the victim of larceny on North Mesa Road. The estimated loss is more than $2,500.

Oct. 11 at 12:12 p.m. / An 88-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she is the victim of fraud on Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is more than $250.

 

MELISSA CARPENTER

Oct. 11 at 1:30 p.m. / Police arrested Melissa Carpenter, 37, of Los Alamos on Diamond Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Oct. 11 at 6:17 p.m. / A 59-year-old Jemez Springs man reported that someone stole his firearm on Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

 

MATHEW TORRES

Oct. 12 at 6:43 p.m. / Police arrested Mathew Torres, 29, of Espanola on Trinity Drive on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

 

 

LAURA THACKER

Oct. 12 at 8:04 p.m. / Police arrested Laura Thacker, 52, of Santa Fe on N.M. 4 and charged her with possession of marijuana.

 

 

 

MICHAEL MUNIZ

Oct. 12 at 8:59 p.m. / Police arrested Michael Muniz, 25, of Dixon on an outstanding warrant from another jurisdiction.

 

 

JOSHUA PAINTER

Oct. 12 at 10:15 p.m. / Police arrested Joshua Painter, 27, of Los Alamos at 142 Meadow Lane and charged him with battery upon a peace officer and arrested him again at 11:10 p.m. at Los Alamos Medical Center and charged him with battery upon a health care worker.

Oct. 13 at 9:38 a.m. / A 39-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone damaged her property on Arizona Avenue. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.

Oct. 13 at 11:40 a.m. / Police arrested Victor Martinez, 29, of Los Alamos on Diamond Drive and charged him with criminal trespass. Police are issuing him a summons to appear in court.

Oct. 13 at 12:10 p.m. / Police arrested Melissa Carpenter, 37, on Trinity Drive and charged her with the theft of a credit card.

Oct. 14 at 10:09 a.m. / An 82-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she is the victim of larceny. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

Oct. 15 at 1:27 p.m. / Police arrested Gary Bobo, 42, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Oct. 15 at 2:25 p.m. / Police arrested Jeffrey Aslin, 45, of Los Alamos on Trinity Drive on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

 

HELEN HITSON

Oct. 14 at 12:33 a.m. / Police arrested Helen Hinton, 54, of Los Alamos near 6th Street and DP Road and charged her with illegal camping. Police are issuing her a summons to appear in court.

Oct. 15 at 5:16 p.m. / A 40-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of larceny on Deer Court. The estimated loss is less than $500.

Oct. 16 at 8:16 a.m. / A 62-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone burglarized her home on Circle Drive. The estimated loss is unknown.

Oct. 16 at 1:51 p.m. / A 15-year-old Espanola boy reported that he was battered on Central Avenue.

Oct. 16 at 3:57 p.m. / A 38-year-old Los Alamos man reported that someone damaged his property on Trinity Drive. The estimated loss is less than $1,000.

Oct. 16 at 9:43 p.m. / Police arrested Michael Pecusa, 20, of Santa Fe at 6th Street and Iris Street and charged him with possession of marijuana.
