Los Alamos Police Blotter: Oct. 25 to Oct. 31, 2012

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department.

Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

Oct. 25 at 1:47 p.m. / A business in the 100 block of Meadow Lane reported that it was the victim of larceny. The estimated loss is less than $250.

ERIC MAHLER

Oct. 25 at 6:02 p.m. / Police arrested Eric Mahler, 30, of Santa Fe on an outstanding Magistrate Court Warrant in the 1100 block of Sioux Street.

 

 

 

KEVIN HERRING

Oct. 26 at 11:22 a.m. / Police charged Kevin Herring, 34, of Los Alamos with aggravated battery in the 4000 block of Sycamore Street and issued him a summons to appear in court. 

Oct. 26 at 11:22 a.m. / Police charged Eric Mahler, 30, of Santa Fe with aggravated battery in the 4000 block of Sycamore Street and issued him a summons to appear in court.

 

HEATH WADE

Oct. 27 at 3:30 a.m. / Police arrested Heath Wade, 32, of Los Alamos in the 1700 block of 37th Street on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.

Oct. 28 at 1:03 a.m. / Giant Service Station, 3701 Arkansas St., reported that it was the victim of shoplifting. The estimated loss was less than $100.

 

CHRISTOPHER WAJDA

Oct. 28 at 1:20 a.m. / Police arrested Christopher Wajda, 21, of Los Alamos on Arkansas Avenue and charged him with shoplifting.

Oct. 28 at 11:16 a.m. / A 41-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of fraud in the 200 block of Rover Boulevard. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

Oct. 28 at 6:03 p.m. / A 57-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of vandalism through negligent use of explosives in the 2200 block of 37th Street.

Oct. 28 at 6:13 p.m. / Police charged two 16-year-old Los Alamos boys and a 17-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 2200 block of 37th Street with negligent use of explosives and referred them to the juvenile probation officer.

Oct. 28 at 6:03 p.m. / A 48-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was the victim of vandalism through negligent use of explosives in the100 block of Taos Street.

 Oct. 28 at 6:13 p.m. / Police charged two 16-year-old Los Alamos boys and a 17-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 2200 block of 37th Street with negligent use of explosives and referred them to the juvenile probation officer.

Oct. 29 at 11:23 a.m. / A 69-year-old Los Alamos man in the 4300 block of Alabama Street reported that someone used his credit card without his permission.

Oct. 29 at 12:21 p.m. / A 31-year-old Espanola man reported that he was assaulted in the 500 block of Central Avenue. The matter is under investigation.

Oct. 31 at 6:24 p.m. / A 28-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was battered by a household member in the 1200 block of Seminole.

Oct. 31 at 6:37 a.m. / Police charged Amanda Claybaugh, 21, of Los Alamos in the 1200 block of Seminole with battery against a household member and issued her a summons to appear in court.
