Los Alamos Police Blotter: March 2 To March 7, 2016

LAPD News:

The following information is provided by the Los Alamos Police Department. Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.

March 2 at 6:22 a.m. / Police charged a 15-year-old Espanola boy at 1300 Diamond Dr., with battery and referred him to the juvenile probation officer.

March 2 at 3:20 p.m. / A Los Alamos man reported that he is the victim of larceny on Hawk Drive. The estimated loss is less than $2,500.

March 2 at 7:10 p.m. / Police arrested Steve Duran, 54, of Santa Fe at 2500 Trinity Dr., and charged him with unlawful use of a telephone and issued him a summons to appear in court. Police booking photo is unavailable.

March 3 at 11:41 a.m. / Police charged a 16-year-old Los Alamos boy with shoplifting at 751 Trinity Dr., and referred him to the juvenile probation officer. The estimated loss is less than $100.

March 3 at 5:55 p.m. / The LAPD bomb squad responded to a call at LEDA, which turned out to be a false alarm.

MATTHEW BARUZZINI

March 4 at 3:20 a.m. / Police arrested Matthew Baruzzini, 35, of Los Alamos near 11th Street and Iris Street and charged him with DWI.

March 4 at 5:39 a.m. / A 22-year-old Albuquerque man reported that he was battered on Arkansas Avenue.

March 5 at 8:10 a.m. / Police responded to the unattended death of a 66-year-old Los Alamos man. Foul play is not suspected.

March 5 at 8:35 p.m. / Police arrested Mariah Bayless, 19, of Los Alamos near Meadow Lane and Rover Boulevard and charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia and issued her a summons to appear in court. Police booking photo is unavailable.

March 5 at 9:30 p.m. / Police arrested John Ireland, 64, on Karen Circle and charged him with battery against a household member and issued him a summons to appear in court. Police booking photo is unavailable.

APRIL RIVERA

March 7 at 10:13 a.m. / Police arrested April Rivera, 30, of Los Alamos at 2500 Trinity Dr., on an outstanding Magistrate Court warrant.
