Neither arrests nor charges indicate a conviction, and neither means that a person is guilty of the charges filed against them.
Dec. 20 at 12:03 a.m. / Police arrested Connie Lemon-Sandoval, 67, of Los Alamos near 38th Street and Villa and charged her with driving without a working tail light, driving without insurance and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
Dec. 20 at 2:29 p.m. / Police charged a 17-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 1300 block of Diamond Drive with possession of a controlled substance, referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parent.
Dec. 20 at 11:48 p.m. / Police arrested Raynard Frank, 41, of Blackfoot on N.M. 4 for failure to maintain his lane and aggravated DWI-refusal to submit to chemical testing.
Dec. 21 at 10:06 a.m. / A 50-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that someone burglarized her home in the 100 block of Short Drive. The estimated loss is unknown.
Dec. 22 at 4:06 a.m. / Police arrested Ben Abeln, 23, of Los Alamos near Meadow Lane and Rover Boulevard and charged him with careless driving, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and aggravated DUI-refusal to submit to chemical testing.
Dec. 22 at 10:59 a.m. / A 36-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was battered by a household member in the 2300 block of 37th Street.
Dec. 22 at 10:59 a.m. / Police arrested Patrick Connolly, 30, of Los Alamos in the 2300 block of 37th Street and charged him with battery against a household member.
Dec. 22 at 10:38 p.m. / Police responded to the home of a 73-year-old Los Alamos man in the 1500 block of 42nd Street who died of apparent natural causes. No foul play is suspected.
Dec. 22 at 11:45 p.m. / Police in another jurisdiction arrested Matthew Beckman, 20, of Santa Fe on an outstanding Magistrate Court Warrant. No photo available.
Dec. 23 at 6:57 a.m. / Police charged a 15-year-old Los Alamos boy in the 1300 block of 41st Street with possession of marijuana, referred him to the juvenile probation officer and released him to his parents.
Dec. 23 at 5:16 p.m. / A 23-year-old Los Alamos man reported that he was battered in the 1600 block of Central Avenue. No charges are pending at this time as the matter is under investigation.
Dec. 24 at 2:12 p.m. / A 20-year-old Los Alamos woman reported that she was the victim of larceny in the 1900 block of Camino Mora. The estimated loss is less than $500.
