Los Alamos Nature Center Features Weekend Films

Dr. Galen Gisler will reveal the stories behind star colors at 7 p.m., Friday, April 14, in the Los Alamos Nature Center planetarium.
 
At 2 p.m., Saturday and Sunday, Sea Monsters, a film that uncovers a time when prehistoric sea creatures come to life, will play in planetarium. The film follows fossil hunters to remote locations as the hunters excavate the remains of some of the most awe-inspiring creatures of all time.
 
The Los Alamos Nature Center will be open regular hours this month: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday as well as 1-4 p.m., Sunday. The nature center is closed Thursdays for regular maintenance. The nature center will be open 1-4 p.m. Easter, April 16.
