Los Alamos Native Rose Evans Crowned Mrs. New Mexico

Rose Evans, a Los Alamos native, was crowned Mrs. New Mexico United States 2017 Sunday night at the New Mexico United States Pageant at the African American Performing Arts Center in Albuquerque. She will continue on to compete for New Mexico at the Mrs. United States National Competion in July in Orlando, Fla. She plans to spend her year as Mrs. New Mexico advocating for the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and youth facing adversity in New Mexico. Courtesy photo
