Many thanks to the community for supporting our fundraising through participation in our recent Los Alamos Master Gardeners’ Plant Sale!
Funds raised go back into the stewardship of the Demonstration Garden and the White Rock Community Garden. The plants come from the Master Gardeners themselves through seed sowing, perennial division, and nurturing starts, so we always have a variety and a few surprises among the offerings.
This year, we received donations from friends and family as well – thank you!
For me, watching our volunteers interact with the public is very rewarding. Whether answering questions about a particular plant or just chatting about gardening in general, I am pleased to see the joy in the sharing of their passion.
