Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District are presenting two events in support of Pride Week.
The kick-off of “Tuesdays at the Square” is tonight! In support of Pride Week, the first performance will be the Atomic Follies, presenting a family-friendly series of cabaret acts. Visit one of the many restaurants in Central Park Square and bring a picnic to the lawn outside of Boese Bros., 6-8 p.m., and enjoy the show.
Also happening this week is a special edition of the Atomic Follies Cabaret, brunch-style. Hosted at LA Cantina in Central Park Square, with a fabulous Mediterranean buffet and entertainment. Live music, drag queens, and song and dance numbers await you on Sunday, June 18. This is an 18+ event.
Tuesdays at the Square Kicks off Tonight!
Presented by Los Alamos MainStreet and Creative District and sponsored by Zia Credit Union, Tuesdays at the Square (formerly at Ashley Pond) is gearing up for a rocking summer.
This year, Tuesdays will be activating the Central Park Square lawn next to Boese Bros. with six Tuesday evenings of live music, spanning rock, jazz, blues and more. The Atomic Follies will kick off the season tonight with their all-ages cabaret show for Pride Week.
This free entertainment series will continue with Quemazon Combo, Half-Pint and the Growlers, Heather and the Bad Breaks, The Shiners Club, and Eryn Bent.
In addition to live music, there will be pop-up science fun, a beer garden and opportunities for picnicking and art-making.
Surrounded by 10 of Los Alamos’ favorite food and beverage establishments, including food and drink specials from Boese, there will be plenty of options for dinner. Bring your blanket and chairs, dinner of choice and enjoy the shady summer evening sounds. Stay later and join in on Boese’s Tuesday Night Trivia.

Champagne Wishes & Cabaret Queens Drag Brunch
This Sunday, June 18, 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. @ Los Alamos Cantina.
This new adult brunch show including Drag Queens (& Kings), burlesque, puppets, live music, comedy & food. The Atomic Follies will present a Brunch Cabaret with drag queen performances, live music, comedy, burlesque and more. Doors open at 9:45 a.m., Brunch is served at 10 a.m., and the show starts at 10:30 a.m. This is an 18+ event. Food & Drink will be for sale at the show. Must be 18+ to enter, and 21+ to drink.
