Los Alamos Kiwanis Honors Local Student Jordan Ahlers

The Kiwanis Club of Los Alamos has kicked off its annual recognition of local students selected to recieve educational scholarships. Jordan Ahlers graduated from Los Alamos High School and was honored at a recent Kiwanis meeting. She will attend Hillsdale College in Michigan in the fall to study pre-law or engineering. Kiwanis meets  at noon each Tuesday at Trinity on the Hill Church in Kelly Hall. Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and focuses on youth projects. It is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos.
