Los Alamos Kiwanis Awards Scholarship To Jenna Erickson

The Los Alamos Kiwanis Club presented Los Alamos High School senior Jenna Erickson with a scholarship Tuesday during the group’s weekly meeting.

Erickson was recognized for her active community participation as a youth leader in the United Way Youth Team, Los Alamos Youth Leadership Project manager, and a member of the Los Alamos Heart Council. She plans to attend the University of Utah to study ballet and humanitarian aid.

Kiwanis was founded in 1948 and is the oldest service organization in Los Alamos and focuses on youth projects. For more information on Kiwanis, visit www.losalamos.kiwanisone.org. Kiwanis meets at noon each Tuesday at the Trinity on the Hill Church and is open to everyone.
