LAHA News:

Sunday, Nov. 11 at the Outpost Ice Arena in Albuquerque, four ice hockey teams composed entirely of girls from New Mexico, including two teams from Los Alamos Hockey Association (LAHA), came together to play a two-game series.

This is believed to be the first time four all New Mexico girls teams have played each other in one day.

The LAHA U12 Girls fell to the NMIce U12 Girls. The newly formed LAHA U14 Girls squad was bested by in-state rival New Mexico Mustangs U14.

Next up, the LAHA U14 Girls take on the Arvadam Colorado U14 Girls at 7:30 pm. Dec 1 at the Los Alamos County ice rink.

Girls ice hockey is growing in New Mexico, and LAHA is proud to be a part of it. Any girls ages 9-14 interested in playing on an all-girls ice hockey team this season can contact LAHA Girls Director Scott Doebling at swwd@yahoo.com. Beginners are welcome!
