You can tell its Spring when senior pranks get under way. A longtime tradition at Los Alamos High School (LAHS), senior year students think up pranks without fail. This year is no exception with the winner being a shrink-wrapped Tundra spotted Saturday in the Griffith Gymnasium parking lot in front of the Wellness Center. One of the pranksters, (who for obvious reasons wishes to remain anonymous), said the truck belongs to his good buddy Jared Dominguez who is already aware of it. No damage was done to the Tundra in the making of this prank. Among the best of past senior pranks were a mountain of band chairs stacked to the ceiling in the band room with love notes attached for the band teacher. Also, a Volkswagen bug cut in half and welded back together around the flagpole. ‘We are so very lucky here in Los Alamos to have such clever kids growing up with a sense of humor and just a slight touch of mischief,’ Lee Weinland said.
