Watch exciting live women’s gymnastics this weekend in Pojoaque. More than 350 New Mexico and Texas gymnasts are expected to compete Feb. 27-28 at Buffalo Thunder Resort in the first ever Pojoaque Dreamcatcher Gymnastics Invitational.
The two-day event is hosted by Los Alamos High Flyers Gymnastics and will feature gymnasts competing in Levels 2 through 10 and three Xcel levels. Sixteen different teams are registered to attend with athletes ranging in age from 5 through 18.
The meet will be held in the Buffalo Thunder Resort Grand Ballroom with two special free performances by the Pojoaque Youth Hoop Dancers. Tickets are $8 per session for adults, $4 for kids. All day passes are $15. Competition is separated by skill level with the most advanced gymnasts competing at level 10.
Saturday session times:
9 a.m. ― Level 2 and Xcel bronze
11 a.m. ― Level 3
2 p.m. ― Level 4 younger and Xcel silver
5:30 p.m. ― Level 6-7-8
Sunday session times:
9 a.m. ― Levels 5, 9, 10, and Xcel gold
12:30 p.m. ― Level 4 older
