Los Alamos Golf Course Schedules Set for 2014

The Los Alamos Golf Course has set schedules for a number of the most popular programs as well as new programs for the upcoming 2014 golf season. 

Get Golf Ready is designed to teach everything a person will need to play golf in just a few lessons. The professional staff at Los Alamos will show you that there are lots of ways to play by combining fun, friends and fitness. Each session will focus on the various golf skills you will use while playing. In addition to learning the basics, you will be guided onto the golf course to put your skills into action in a casual, friendly setting. Group sessions are available in both May and June.

Family Fun Night historically one of the most popular programs is designed to get the entire family together for a little clinic instruction, and includes some time on the course as well as food after golf. The dates for this program include June 4, July 9 and Aug. 6. 

The annual Junior Program includes two sessions this year one in June and one in July. The program introduces youngsters to the fundamentals of putting, chipping and the full swing. The principals of etiquette and the rules of golf will also be covered in these sessions that run Tuesday through Thursdays. 

New for 2014 is the opportunity to learn the game with your family. The PGA professional staff is offering families the opportunity to take instruction in a family setting at a special group rate.
