LAGC News:

The Los Alamos Garden Club has rescheduled its free Rose Pruning Workshop for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 24.

The workshop will be held at the Fuller Lodge Memorial Rose Garden and lead by Carlos Valdez of the Los Alamos County Cooperative Extension Office.

This is an excellent workshop for anyone interested in learning how to properly prune roses. Valdez will teach attendees how to prune, clean and care for roses.

Participants should wear long sleeve shirts and long pants. Gloves will be necessary and anyone with pruners should bring them. It also is helpful to bring a bucket to put cuttings in.

No registration is necessary and there is no fee, but attendees need to wear masks and social distance.

For more information, contact Judy Handy at 505.470.7644.
