The Los Alamos Firefighters Association, IAFF 3279, has announced that it has chosen to endorse Democrat Rep. Stephanie Garcia Richard in the race for the House Seat in District 43.

Bert Quintana, president of the Los Alamos Firefighters Association, expressed solid support for Rep. Garcia Richard’s re-election bid, and her commitment to all First Responders in District 43.

“We recognize your commitment to District 43, and the support you have provided us and the New Mexico Firefighters Association at the Legislature,” Quintana said. “We are confident you will continue your support for firefighter, paramedic and public safety personnel.”

Garcia Richard is running for re-election against Republican challenger Sharon Stover.

The Firefighters Association has endorsed Garcia Richard in the last three election cycles including 2010, 2012 and 2014.
