Elks Lodge News:

The Los Alamos Elks Lodge #2083 is hosting the 2024 Annual Elks Charity Golf Tournament starting at 9 a.m. Friday, Sept. 27 at the Los Alamos Golf Course followed by a luncheon and other festivities at the Elks Lodge at 1601 Trinity Drive.

This will be one of the first opportunities to play on some of the renovated holes. The partial golf course opening means it can only support a reduced field of golfers. The luncheon will offer several opportunities for attendees to donate funds to this year’s causes. All levels of sponsorship include luncheon admittance as well as advertising at the tournament.

Proceeds will fund a local child’s wish through Make-A-Wish Foundation of New Mexico, with any additional funds going to the Los Alamos Family Council, UNM Children’s Hospital and other non-profit organizations focused on supporting children in Los Alamos County and the surrounding Northern New Mexico communities.

Through the generosity of donors, the Elks will be able to make a tangible difference in the lives of local children.

Player registration is $125/player or $500/team and includes entry into golf scramble, greens fees, golf cart and Oktoberfest luncheon and should be registered on the Los Alamos Golf Association website. Because of the reduced golf course size for this event, the number of players is limited. Sponsorships are gratefully accepted by any member of the Los Alamos Elks Lodge #2083 or on the Los Alamos Golf Association website.
