The 16U Los Alamos Premier Diamondbacks Volleyball Team competed March 12 in the New Mexico Cactus Mini-Series. The Diamondbacks took first place in a 10-team field comprising 17/18U teams from Albuquerque, Santa Fe and Colorado. It was strong play all around as they went 3-1 in pool play losing to Santa Fe Storm 17U and then going 3-0 in bracket play beating Santa Fe Storm 17U in the final match. Courtesy photo
