“We are pleased to be in a position to provide a weekly print edition to our readers at no charge,” Publisher Carol A. Clark said. “Our readership has grown significantly since we began publishing in February 2012 and currently draws some 970,000 page views per month from Los Alamos and throughout New Mexico, across the United States and 129 countries around the world.”
The Los Alamos Small Business Development Center played an important role in helping the Los Alamos Daily Post lay a solid foundation prior to beginning operations. In the three-and-a-half-years since that time, the newspaper has launched the Jemez Daily Post, which celebrated its first year anniversary July 7, and the Valley Daily Post, which launched in May.
The publication also has garnered a number of recognitions and awards including:
- 2013 Small Business of the Year;
- 2014 Small Business of the Year and recognized on the floor of the New Mexico Legislature;
- 2015 Los Alamos County Council Recognition; and
- 2015 Rotary Club of Los Alamos Small Business of the Year.
The Los Alamos Daily Post news team extends its appreciation to our readers around the world and especially those in the Los Alamos community who so enthusiastically embraced our newspaper from the very beginning. We also want to take this opportunity to thank our many advertisers who continue to support our efforts to bring our readers all the important news of Los Alamos.
